Day 2 - Blizzard Football Training Camp

Please join us for the Blizzard Training Camp on July 12-14 at Fox Run Park!  We will follow- the following schedule: 9am – 1pm on Friday & Saturday (July 12-13), and 1pm – 6pm on Sunday (July 14).  From 4pm – 6pm on Sunday June 14 we will have a team wide BBQ at Fox Run.  We hope you can make the camp, but if not, please join us for the BBQ.  It will be our last opportunity to get together prior to August 1.  The cost of Camp is $25 for attendees registered for the 2019 Blizzard Season, and $50 for any who are not registered for the 2019 Blizzard Season.  The registration form will automatically calculate the registration fee including a family discount for multiple athletes.

When is the Camp?

July 12, 2019: 9:00am – 1:00pm
July 13, 2019: 9:00am – 1:00pm
July 14, 2019: 1:00pm – 6:00pm (team BBQ from 4pm – 6pm)

Who is the camp for?

The camp is for Rookie, Mitey Mite, Junior PeeWee, and PeeWee.  This is for ages 6 – 12 (please check the website for registration ages).  This camp is open to those who have registered for the 2019 Blizzard Football Season AND to those who are still considering joining.

What will we be doing?

We will be running position specific skills training.  During registration you will be asked for the position training you prefer.  This training will specifically cover these positions: QBs, RBs, WRs, O-Line, D-Line, Linebackers, and Secondary.   We will include skills training as well as position specific conditioning and team conditioning and training.  You won’t want to miss out on this individualized training to give the Blizzard and your child a head start on excelling through this Football Season!

What do I need to bring?

All your athlete will need to bring is football cleats, shorts, t-shirt or tank top, a water bottle (with name on it), and a good attitude.  We suggest putting sport sunscreen on before you arrive and some your child can re-apply if needed.  No hats or sunglasses can be worn during the camp, you are welcome bring them but will be asked to remove them when we start.  No chewing gum, candy or necklaces during camp either.

What will we provide?

We will provide a Camp Shirt, water stations, a 20min lunch break, training equipment, and the best coaches a ninja could ask for 🙂 !

For BBQ: We will be serving Hot Dogs, Burgers, Fruit, Chips and Veggie
